Managing successful programmes (MSP®) is a well known set of principles and practises that are used to ensure projects in the workplace are successful. With MSP® training, the course content be applied directly into a business situation straight away. 

MSP® was orginally called Central Computer and Telecommunications Agency (CCTA). It specialised in specifically in IT project management. Later, in 1996, MSP was released and since then it has become popular and has helped to optimse many business. 

MSP® provides a wide variety of courses to suit wide of requirements. They are MSP® Foundation and Practitioner, MSP® Foundation, MSP® Practitioner, MSP® upgrade and MSP® Practitioner re-registration.

MSP® Foundation course has been designed for anyone who had a interest Programme Management. It has no entry requriements but you required to do some pre-course reading. You are recommened to read about the principles and the introduction to Themes from 'Managing Successful Programmes". This will take you about 15 hour to complete on average.The course will last 3 days.

The MSP® Foundation exam will consist of 75 questions, which are multiple choice.  The pass mark is 50%.

 

There are three core theories in an MSP® structure:

MSP® Principles – Following on from positive and negative involvements of programmes. This develops to the proposal of better techniques.

MSP® Governance Themes – A direction of a business’s technique to project management, how to arrange and succeed a team professionally for the best effects.

MSP® Transformational Flow – the growth of a project from beginning to end which consists of the conclusions and benefits.

What are the details of the exam?

MSP® Foundation Examination The Foundation Exam is a multiple choice paper with 75 questions. 5 of these are test questions and will not be totalled as part of the final score. The necessity is to pass the exam is a score of at least 35/70 or 50%. The exam is 60 minutes long and has a ‘closed book’ process.
